For size reference, the refrigerator can fit approximately 24 soda cans.<\/li>\n<li>Dishwashing liquid, salt, and pepper, cooking oil, paper towels, trash bags, ziplock bags, tin foil, etc. can often be found in our stash of unused past renter gear<\/li>\n<li>Picnic blanket<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_6 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h2>Clothing<\/h2>\n<p>Our biggest suggestion is to pack\u00a0<b>layers<\/b>. Many places\u2013especially in the desert\u2013can be very hot during the day and very cold at night. Packing smartly and bringing different layers is the best way to prepare for these temperature changes. Aside from your basic t-shirts and shorts, we recommend:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thick wool socks<\/li>\n<li>Long pants<\/li>\n<li>Hat \u2013 both a beanie and a baseball cap to block the sun<\/li>\n<li>Warm jacket<\/li>\n<li>Raincoat<\/li>\n<li>Hiking shoes<\/li>\n<li>Swimsuit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_7 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h2>Personal<\/h2>\n<p>Aside from your own toiletry items, we recommend:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunscreen<\/li>\n<li>Sunglasses<\/li>\n<li>Sandals \u2013 Good for campground showers and for lounging<\/li>\n<li>Hand sanitizer<\/li>\n<li>Insect repellent<\/li>\n<li>Laundry bag and a small container of detergent (if you\u2019re going on a longer trip, it can be nice to do some laundry at larger campgrounds)<\/li>\n<li>Towels \u2013 You may want one for showering and one for swimming\/beaches. Quick-drying towels are best for when you\u2019re on the road.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_9 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<h2>Other<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>First aid kit<\/li>\n<li>Dashboard mount for iPhone (especially if using it as your GPS)<\/li>\n<li>Fairy lights and any other decorations you may want for some extra magical flair<\/li>\n<li>A small battery-powered fan \u2013 Nice if you\u2019re going somewhere really hot (we provide heaters in winter months)<\/li>\n<li>A lantern, flashlight, headlamp \u2013 or all three (your van comes with a solar-powered light in the back over the kitchen, but you may want an extra light for the picnic table or for making your way to the restroom at night)<\/li>\n<li>Bear spray \u2013 Canisters can be expensive, but they\u2019re worth it if you come across a bear on the trail!<\/li>\n<li>Daypack<\/li>\n<li>Wet wipes<\/li>\n<li>Water bottle<\/li>\n<li>Duct tape<\/li>\n<li>Clothesline<\/li>\n<li>Small sewing kit<\/li>\n<li>Aux cable and USB converter (these are also available for purchase for $5 each at our Escape Camper Van depots)<\/li>\n<li>Books<\/li>\n<li>Playing cards<\/li>\n<li>Quarters for showering at campgrounds (we also offer a solar shower, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/escapecampervans.com\/extras\/\">Extras<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Hammock<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_10 et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p>We\u2019re happy to help out with any packing questions you may have. <a href=\"https:\/\/escapecampervans.com\/contact-us\/\">Contact us<\/a> today to learn more.<br \/>\nNot your first rodeo?
