How much does it cost to rent a camper in Utah?

On average, renting a camper in Utah costs between $75 and $150 per day. Camper vans closer to $75 are more compact and great for traveling with fewer than five people. Those that are closer to $150 will be roomier when you’re traveling with up to five people and may have some extra premium features. You should also budget for gas expenses and mileage fees. Most campers have mileage fees of $0.30-0.40 cents per mile you drive. Costs to rent a camper may also vary depending on demand and the time of year. The summer is the most popular tourist time in Utah to camp and explore its great national parks, so it’s likely daily rental prices may increase during that time.

How old do you have to be to rent a camper in Utah?

You need to be at least 21 to rent a camper in Utah and hold a standard driver’s license. Some companies also have higher age minimums for RV and camper rentals that go up to 25 years old. So, make sure you check with individual company policies before planning your camping trip. These age minimums are set due to liability associated with renting vehicles and insurance premiums. Drivers who are under 21 will have much higher insurance premiums since they are seen as inexperienced and could have a higher tendency to take risks while driving. Those higher premiums make it much less profitable for companies to rent to young drivers.
