The beauty of campervans is the freedom they give you to get off the beaten path. We believe that while it’s great to hit all the popular landmarks on a road trip, some of the best moments come from finding that secluded “secret” beach at sunset, that hole-in-the-wall local’s fish taco joint, and that hidden campsite with the best view.
Our staff is one of the more experienced groups when it comes to all the local know-how, but being a small team, there are only so many places we can go ourselves. So, in an effort to get the best information out there to our Escapee community, we’re launching a contributor program!
What we’re looking for:
Are you the token traveler amongst your group of friends? Are you itching to find that next secret waterfall to add to your repertoire of best hikes in your neck of the woods? Do you know all the best camp spots and sunset drives? You’re in luck.
We’re looking for a diverse range of outdoor storytellers – from seasoned van lifers to adventurous first-timers; from hardcore rock climbers to nature walk lovers; from mountain bike enthusiasts to culture connoisseurs. If you love the outdoors, dabble in writing, and can take decent photos/videos, we want to hear from you!
What we need from you:
Send us 1 “contribution” a month. This will be posted to our
blog, but it can be in whatever format you like.
Some ideas: a story about a recent camping trip or hike in your area, a list of your top tips for first time van renters, advice for traveling with kiddos, how to find the best campsite in your area, your favorite #vanlife recipe, …sky’s the limit, as long as it’s valuable intel for future Escapees!

Note: we’re looking for contributors in the US for now, but will consider international opportunities.
We’ll choose our first group of contributors by Jan 1, 2022. The first submission will be due Feb 1, 2022.
