Three Reasons To Rent A Camper Van

With the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic ending, my girlfriend and I found ourselves with a strong desire to get out of the house. We both live in the city and are not what you would call “outdoorsy.” However, while searching for somewhere to go we discovered Escape Camper Vans. This might seem like an oxymoron; but doesn’t a Camper Van imply camping? In our experience, not necessarily.
Campervans Are Easy To Maneuver
The great thing about an Escape Campervan is its accessibility. They are easy to drive and come with all of the necessities. They also offer flexible rental schedules, whether you want to take a three-month expedition or a three-day weekend getaway, Escape Camper Van has you covered. Finally, Camper Vans are incredibly versatile. They offer a great way to do some serious camping or, in my case, not so serious camping.
Campervans Are A Budget-Friendly Option
Unlike renting an RV, which can cost approximately the same as a mortgage payment, camper vans are available for as low as fifty dollars a day. As I stated earlier, we are not “outdoorsy people.” For our trip, we decided to check out some vineyards in North Fork New York. We had been planning the trip for quite some time; however, the cost had always been an issue. We are both graduate students and are operating on a pretty tight budget. It goes without saying that hotels in the middle of wine country are not always the most budget-friendly options, so we were grateful for our Camper Van.
With the Camper Van, we were able to dramatically reduce the cost of our trip. And it was surprisingly easy. I was understandably a bit nervous about the trip during the planning phase. After all, we have a combined camping lifetime experience of about a week. Neither of us had ever needed to find a campground and the experience of camping in a van just seemed so (and here’s that word again) “outdoorsy.” But here’s the thing, it was easy. Shockingly easy for someone with zero camping experience.
You Can Pick Up From One Of The Many Locations
The Camper Van can be picked up at the New York City rental location, then there is a two-hour drive to McCann’s Campgrounds. We settled on this campground due to its proximity to beaches and the vineyards but there are plenty of other campgrounds in the area as well. From McCann’s, it is an approximately ten-minute drive to a wide variety of vineyards.
Book Your Campervan And Go
So, should you rent a campervan? The answer is almost certainly yes. A Camper Van might seem, well, campy. But that doesn’t have to be the case. Whether you want to explore the great outdoors or explore a great glass of wine, a Camper Van offers everyone the chance to have a great, affordable, and accessible weekend getaway.
If you are getting sick of quarantine and want to get away for a while, there is no better way to do it than in a Camper Van. My advice to you is to look into renting a Camper Van even if you don’t think of yourself as a typical camper. You will be surprised at how easy it is, after all, if we can do it, so can you.
