The Big Sur campervan is a scance more spacious than the Mavericks and brings you more legroom for your family. You still can use the 2-burner Coleman propane stove in the back, but you shouldn’t have to move the bucket seats in order to use the campervan’s bed. It’s perfect if you want some extra storage space or for those expansive excursions out of state.
For more agile options, try the Santa Cruz campervan or the Jeep Camper. You still find the bed and kitchen, but you’ll find they have a smaller footprint. These models work superbly for last-minute trips or couple’s vacations. *These models are only offered in certain states.

You begin your adventure in Los Angeles. Find the Escape Campervan depot on W Century Blvd, by LAX. The most direct route to get to the depot from San Bernardino is on I-105 and getting off at the 2A exit ramp. We’re at 4858 W Century Blvd, and you store your ride at the 405 Airport Parking lot. Many of our renters take a ride option, like Uber or Lyft, to the depot.

Once you pick up your ride in Los Angeles, it’s off to Venice Beach via I-405. Or head on over to Coachella Valley that’s only 135 miles away.
