By booking your van in San Francisco, you’re just a short drive to the Oakland Zoo, Chabot Park, or Yosemite National Park. Or head off to a cross-country trek in your tricked-out campervan.
Why Drive A Campervan Rental For An Unforgettable Trip
You don’t know road-tripping until you do it with your Sacramento campervan rental. Stay at a state park with no worry about what’s it like outside. Then, head off to wherever at your personal speed. With an Escape Campervan, you’re wandering as you feel in the moment, knowing that each campervan trip is special.
What makes a campervan road trip an awesome vacation is the campervan itself. All our vans are intuitive to drive and are equipped with a queen-sized bed, 1 or 2 burner kitchen, and an iconic look. Unlike a cumbersome RV, campervans handle just like a car and can be small enough for most tent camping sites. You can even try and disperse camp using your Escape campervan — just remember to adhere to the Leave No Trace philosophy.
What Sacramento Campervan Rental Is Right For You?
You will have a few different models when picking out your Sacramento campervan rental. Most choices come down to van size, storage space, and itinerary.
The Mavericks campervan is our most in-demand van. With the Mavericks, there’s a comfy queen-size bed, a foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, built-in fridge, and sink. It’s a go-to rental for a quick drive to Santa Monica Pier. Or, the Mavericks also works well for a week-long stay at Yosemite National Park. Add on a rooftop sleeper, and your family of five all have a place to sleep.
The Big Sur campervan is a little larger than the Mavericks and brings you more storage for your crew. You still get a pull-out kitchen in the back, but you shouldn’t have to fold down the rear seats in order to use the queen-size bed. This model is perfect if you want to camp with some extra storage space or a comfy ride for bigger excursions out of state.
For smaller campervan models, you can look at the Santa Cruz or the Jeep Camper. These still give you the kitchen and bed but your vehicle takes up a tinier footprint. These vehicles work superbly for last-minute trips or romantic vacations. *These models are only available for rent in certain places.
