Salt Lake City Area

There are plenty of year-round campgrounds near Salt Lake City. Camp at the Great Salt Lake to experience the unique landscape of this desert saline lake. Or camp north or east of the city for close access to outstanding ski resorts. There are many ski resorts within a 20 to 45-minute drive from these campgrounds. It’s important to remember when winter camping in Utah, even the Salt Lake Valley gets snow.
