RVs Too Large? Get A Rocky Mountain National Park Campervan Rental For The Ultimate Trip
You’ve most likely heard of people who had a Rocky Mountain National Park RV rental for their vacation. However, there are many reasons to reserve a campervan rental instead. An Escape Campervan comes with many of the same amenities as an RV, but in a cooler, agile form. Similar to an RV, a campervan has a working kitchen, a table and bench, and a queen-size bed. However, everything is more compact for increased functionality. For instance, the bed only pulls out when you’d like to use it. So it’s like there’s a hidden campsite that can be unleashed at any point.
When you get a campervan rental, your vacation isn’t limited to the main roads or overcrowded RV campsites. Your campervan can easily use more secluded tent sites. And campervans don’t need the electric or sewer hookups like an RV. Campervans are also an option for dispersed camping!
But Which Escape Campervan Should You Rent For Rocky Mountain National Park?
There are a few factors to consider when choosing which Escape Campervan to take to Rocky Mountain National Park. We offer the Mavericks and Big Sur at the Denver rental location, which offer different sizes and options.
Our most popular campervan is the Mavericks. This Escape Campervan includes a comfortable queen-size bed, foldaway in-van table and benches, a 2-burner propane stove, dual powered refrigerator, and a sink. The Mavericks is ideal for a couple’s getaway to Rocky Mountain National Park. But it can sleep 5, so you can take your kids. You can also rent rooftop sleepers if you need a place for the kids to sleep on their own.
If you’d like additional room for your family and gear, or if going on a longer road trip, you might want to try the Big Sur campervan. With the Big Sur, you get the same amenities as the Mavericks. Yet you have more space so that you don’t have to fold down the bucket seats to unfold your queen-size bed. The Big Sur also includes additional storage space. So feel free to take a fun toy like an inflatable paddleboard. You can also get the rooftop sleeper.
All campervans rentals include our unique hand-painted exteriors that help you show your adventurous side. You can even rent campervan extras for Rocky Mountain National Park like kitchen kits, tents, and child safety seats to make your trip even better. And with your rental, you’ll get excellent customer care and 24/7 roadside assistance at no charge!

What Are Awesome Places To Camp In Rocky Mountain National Park?
The most visited campsites are at Aspenglen Campground or Glacier Basin Campground. You better call first, though, as you may need reservations — especially during the busy season from May to September. Luckily, you don’t need a large site or water hookups, so you can sleep almost anywhere!
For some hidden gem campsites, we suggest camping at Longs Peak Campground or Timber Creek Campground. Or give dispersed camping a go near Rocky Mountain National Park in your Escape Campervan. Just remember, dispersed camping means roughing it without restrooms, showers, or fire rings, so you want to abide by the Leave No Trace principles.
